Project Manager

Overview:

Project Manager is a high-level position where the perfect candidate must understand the equipment and familiarize themselves with the entire scope of the project. Project Managers are responsible for planning and overseeing projects. Project managers plan and designate project resources, monitor progress, and keep the Lucidyne management team updated of progress.

Responsibilities (not limited to):

  • Gain a thorough understanding of equipment
  • Review contracts and understand what equipment was sold and ensure purchasing of hardware matches the system components as sold
  • Determine the scope of the project and allocate resources accordingly
  • Manage resources in an effective and efficient manner to achieve installation deadlines
  • Track project costs to alleviate overspending
  • Delegate tasks on the project to employees best positioned to complete them
  • Make effective decisions when presented with obstacles
  • Manage a detailed project schedule and work plan
  • Provide project updates on a consistent basis to Lucidyne management team about strategy, adjustments, and progress
  • Communicate expected deliverables to customers
  • Utilize best practices, techniques, and standards throughout entire project execution
  • Monitor project progress and adjust as needed
  • Measure project performance to identify areas of improvement
  • Work cohesively with the entire Lucidyne team and interact successfully to ensure the best results possible for the customer and the company

Requirements:

  • 3-5 years of project management and related experience
  • Project management in an industrial environment
  • Proven ability to solve problems creatively
  • Practical planning
  • Excellent analytical skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • MS Windows

Preferred Additional Skills:

  • Experience in sawmill or planer mill project management
  • Familiarity with project management software tools, methodologies, and best practices
